The natural state of being

YOU ARE THAT

Q: It is hard to see the divinity or Oneness in my life sometimes, especially when I feel that my life is not going the way I want it to...

As long as you feel separated from your true nature, you will feel like a victim of circumstances, asking why this and why that, why is this happening in my life! Why don't I have this or why don't I have that! I wish I had this in my life and perhaps I would be a happier person or I wish I had that etc... Looking at the world and hating one side and loving another.

Most people in life have a "wish list" that they wish they could fulfill, a "mind-set" and a purpose to become someone special. Yet they spend most of their lives striving and complaining that the grass is greener on the other side and that their glass is empty. Instead of realizing that what is happening is just as it is happening, it just is! Nothing wrong with it, it is just what is! No one has any control over Life! Life just is!

When you believe that you are separate from the Oneness, from the only One power, that is present and orchestrating this entire universe, including your life right now, from this Omni-Potence, Omni-presence and Omni-science or your true nature. Then you will feel that things are happening to you as a person and you take it personally. You will feel separated and isolated from this world. And this false belief will create a mental image over time of isolation or separated entity called the "ego", just a false mental belief of separation that seemingly concretized over time.

That illusory "veil" of separation makes you seemingly forget your true Self, your true nature and who you truly are! You feel like a small abandoned "beggar" lost in this world, when you really are a "King" disguised and playing a part of a "beggar" within it's own Kingdom! Everyone is a "divine actor" playing a unique part within this undividable divine dream play of Consciousness or Oneness, it is all the expression of that Oneness or that Consciousness.

If you come to realize that you are being lived by this Oneness, your entire life is governed by this Omni-presence and Omni-potence, than things just happen as they are supposed to happen, and deep inside you know that all is well. You have more of the attitude that "life is like a box of chocolate", you never know what you are going to get, but understand that no matter what appears to be going on in your life right now, Life is always in a state of flux, of continuous changes and this too shall pass eventually and take care of itself, so don't worry. Realize that nothing wants to hurt you in a Universe of pure Oneness, just like a long dream, nothing can ever touch you in any way. Just a divine play of infinite Consciousness and all are dancing waves on this Ocean of Oneness that you truly are!

Q: Is Freedom a question of Faith?

Not at all. Freedom is to simply have the desire to know one's true nature and investigate oneself. Self-investigation or self-inquiry is all that is required. Freedom is simply the removal of ignorance, that is all.

No concept of Faith or of any religious or spiritual ideology is necessary to know oneself. Freedom is simply investigating and questioning one's own existence, self-inquiry brings the self discovery of who am 'I' really.

In other words what is 'I' real identity. What is my real nature? Once you ask yourself this simple questions and investigate yourself then the simple Truth reveals itself to itself. You will be surprised to realize that you are not what you appear to be.

Only the strong desire to know the Self or consciousness is necessary for Freedom.

Investigating and understanding is the 'key' to Freedom. The false cannot stand up to investigation. Once you question what is real and what is false then illusion is revealed. The world is revealed to be a long changing Dream of consciousness, that is all.

Anyone can remove the 'veil' of ignorance and get to know their true nature, all that is required is the earnest desire to know yourself and you will surely know yourself, why not!

After all you already are the Self this very moment, because of ignorance you simply do not realize it. Remove ignorance by understanding only, that is the best medicine.

Forget Faith, forget prayer, forget all religions from East and West, forget spirituality and everything in between and get to know your real self by understanding this presence of affectionate being-ness or consciousness that you know so well already.

Once you understand what this consciousness truly is, then that is called Freedom.

You do not become it or reach it or attain it. You simply realize that you are already it. Just a simple recognition of your unchanging thoughtless true nature is the so called Realization. Consciousness is always what you are naturally anyhow, only ignorance is the obstacle to Freedom.

Consciousness is not something lost or far away but always present so near and so dear, present closer to you than you can ever imagine. Just remove ignorance with understanding for Freedom, that is all that needs to be done.

Obviously if you want to see consciousness as some holy, spiritual or religious presence or experience consciousness as something new, different or see a blazing light, well then realize that you will always be chasing illusion and always overlook the most simple, subtle and the most plain unchanging ordinary everyday presence of existence you have always known yourself to be.

Q: The realization is that being alive is being the Self or God?

Yeah. Simply being alive is being the Self. Done. Being conscious is at once being alive and consciousness or awareness of being. Sentience. Reality is at once being and consciousness.

Consciousness is the knowing that you are alive here and now, present awareness or simply being aware of being yourself all day long which is 'I' am. The Self or God is undeniably present closer to you than your own breath. You can pause your breath, you can pause your thoughts but you cannot pause being.

Never apart or far away. The Self or God is like a precious Jewel hidden within your own pocket all along. Never lost. To look for consciousness or the Self is to always look away from it.

The Reality is always present within your own dwelling as your very own existence itself, as your own being. The Self or consciousness is nothing new or special to anyone alive but paradoxically the most familiar and ordinary presence we all experience directly everyday as the natural state of being or waking state and know so well as plain ordinary everyday 'I' am-ness.

You know that you are and you like it. 'I' am is certain. Consciousness is 'I' am and 'I' am is consciousness. Everybody already knows the Self or God as that undeniable living-ness, alive-ness, being-ness you know so well as your own being. Most people simply do not realize that to be alive and conscious naturally is to be the Self, He, the Reality or God.

The Self, consciousness or God is pure awareness of being, it is that 'I' am you have always known as your own affectionate everyday self. Nothing new whatsoever. The Self is yourself. You are that or Thou art that already. Call off the Search. Remove ignorance and voila. Know thyself.

You are what you Seek. There is no becoming, no reaching, no attaining, no experiencing, no nothing for consciousness to be present, it is the natural sate of being common to everybody, it is simply Life itself.

Breathing is consciousness, seeing is consciousness, hearing is consciousness, thinking is consciousness. It is the unchanging witness and knower of all these things. It is unchanging awareness. All there is present is always consciousness itself or the One without a second. There is nothing else present as yourself. You are the Self this very moment. You are already that. Know the Truth! Ego is not.

Stop seeking and realize that you are already the Self or this presence of consciousness itself by simply being yourself naturally, simply being just as you are. Being alive is consciousness present. Just like with water and ice.

There is no ice without water and no Life or existence without consciousness present. It is the core of one's own being.

Consciousness is the Spirit of Life itself. The unseen Power and intelligence governing and expressing itself naturally through the human body.

Just like a light bulb cannot shine without the power, the body is only a dead corps without consciousness or this Life essence shining through it. Everybody knows consciousness is present as existence itself. As simple changeless being, as 'I' am.

To be alive and conscious is this consciousness itself. Therefore look at yourself and see. Are you alive and conscious this very moment? Are you alive and aware? If you undeniably know that you are conscious and therefore aware of being alive and present as yourself naturally here and now then consciousness is present as pure awareness of being, as 'I' am, as the plain ordinary knowing that you are present or present awareness and that alone is the Self being pointed to as one's true nature.

The 'I' and consciousness are One. One's own self or the 'I' is the Real Self. No separation, no ego, no dual-'I'-ty. Only Oneness. The 'I' is the Infinite Self or consciousness itself. Never lost or far away. Consciousness is always present as one's own being. Understanding is all that is required to recognize one's thoughtless true nature. Consciousness or the Self is the natural effortless ordinary everyday activity of being conscious. That is all the Self truly is. We all experience consciousness directly everyday as the waking state.

Voila! Being conscious is consciousness, what can be any easier than that? You do not have to practice, reach, attain or cultivate consciousness in any way, make no effort! Simply because you are awake, aware of being yourself right now therefore you need not try to be. 'I' am present and aware of being myself is the Self or consciousness present as pure changeless awareness of being.

No one conscious can deny being. Be still and realize that you are aware and remain aware of being yourself naturally and that is consciousness itself or present awareness or God. Knowing that you are is being conscious or consciousness. That pure awareness of being doesn't come or go anywhere. Self-shining like the Sun. 'I' am is always with you. Be still and know that 'I' am is that consciousness itself.

So you are either conscious or un-conscious. Awake, aware of being or asleep.
If you are conscious and therefore aware of being present as yourself then you know the Self.

Simply being conscious is consciousness, nothing more, Consciousness is simple changeless being. We all know the Self or consciousness so well already as self-awareness or 'I' am. That is all self-realization is all about. Knowing that you are present as yourself or 'I' am is God, consciousness or the Self.

The ultimate Truth is so simple. Being oneself is always being this consciousness, present awareness or the Self. No one can deny his own being. Consciousness is indeed always present, not as anything new, not as anything religious or spiritual but simply present as the most familiar and ordinary, present as one's own affectionate self and being, present as that 'I' am you know so well.

Are you conscious? Yes! Voila. You are that knowing that you are.
To know the Self or God or consciousness is so simple, but paradoxically the Seeker doesn't want the Self or God to be so simple. The ignorant wants to see the Self or consciousness as a blazing light. How can it be so?

Consciousness is not some spiritual or religious concept or something extra-ordinary to be freshly experienced in anyway. There is no bondage and there is no liberation for anybody. Remove ignorance only, nothing else is required. Know the Truth! Being oneself is always being the Self.

The Search for God or the Self or consciousness as something spiritual or religious is only a acquired crap from spiritual books and religious teachers, priests and self-appointed Gurus.

There is no God and you in Omni-presence. You are alive and that alone is being God. The kingdom is in you. Present within your own dwelling not as anything new but as the most familiar and affectionate presence you have always known yourself to be. As your very own self and being. As that 'I' am you know.

God is the presence of Life itself. Nobody becomes God. Being alive is being God. Call off the Search. Consciousness is the real presence of existence. Never far away. Life or consciousness is not lost or to be found. It is already here. Present here and now.

Have a look and see. To be or not to be, who is not aware of himself? Life or God is present because everybody knows that they are. 'I' am is God. A spiritual or religious God doesn't exist. Life or existence or consciousness is God. That is all the Oneness or Omni-presence is all about. The Divine is nothing other than one's own being.

Everybody alive never fails to experience the Self, God or consciousness everyday naturally and directly as simple changeless awareness of being. Nothing religious or spiritual whatsoever about Life, existence or God. Everybody knows that they are alive and that undeniable present awareness or knowing that you are, that you exist is 'I' am.

Flush down the toilet any spiritual and religious concepts you may have acquired about God and God is revealed effortlessly as simply being Life itself. God or the Self is at once existence, consciousness, being. God is 'I' am.

If you have been Seeking God, the Self or consciousness for a very long time when consciousness is already undeniably present here and now as 'I' am, well then perhaps you will realize that you have only been looking away from it all this time. God is you are.

Know the simple Truth about Freedom. Freedom is not about becoming anything new, spiritual or special but simply all about removing ignorance about yourself. God is that 'I' am you know so well as your own affectionate everyday self and being.

To know God is easy, simply get to know yourself. Find out who am 'I'? That is all. Not to look for anything new, just look at yourself. Look at your own being. Then you will realize that you already are and have always been naturally what you Seek to find. Never lost, apart or far away. What you Seek is what you are.

You will only laugh at yourself for Seeking God or the Self, because you are already that without ever trying to be. What effort do you make to be? Consciousness, the Self or God is just another name for being yourself. Being yourself is being the Self. God is 'I' am. 'I' am is God.

Whenever you meet people that Seek Freedom, it is only because they are ignorant of the simple Truth. Know the Truth! There is no bondage. To Seek Freedom is bondage itself.

The Search is the Trap. Call off the Search. There is nothing new to get. There never was, one only believes that there is bondage in his head and therefore will Seek liberation. Only remove ignorance with understanding. Nothing else is required for Freedom from all bondage.

Understanding is Realizing that bondage and liberation do not exist at all. Only the veiled and ignorant person foolishly believes that there is bondage but that is only a false notion of being bound, just this and nothing else. Just like being hypnotized.

Understanding this consciousness is very easy. No time or effort is required to know that you are alive and conscious. Present awareness or awareness of being oneself is God. Here and now you are that. Being is the Self itself. Being is consciousness itself. Being is 'I' am. 'I' am is God.

To be alive and aware of being oneself is consciousness. Know the Truth. That the 'I' and consciousness are One. The knowing that you are alive and conscious is 'I' am. Awareness of being.

The Self is God. 'I' am is God. You are and have always been the Infinite Self, consciousness, Life, the Oneness or God and eternally Free. Call off the Search. Understanding is all.

Only religions and spirituality created illusory paths full of practices, rituals to become something new, spiritual or special. That is called illusion. There is nothing new whatsoever to become, reach or attain in Omni-presence. You are that already. Thou art that.

Being alive and aware of being alive right here and now is knowing that you are present. Present awareness is 'I' am. Consciousness is 'I' am. That is what God or the eternal Infinite Self truly is. 'I' am is God. Simple changeless being is one's true nature. So simple.

God is Life itself. No one ever fails to experience God as existence itself, as pure awareness of being, as simply the everyday plain ordinary natural activity of being alive and aware of being present as oneself. No one can deny being. 'I' am is pure awareness of being. God is that 'I' am you know so well.

Life is what is truly happening while people are busy making plans. Be still and 'I' am alone remains. Be still and know that 'I' am is God. How much time and effort does it take to know that you are?
Look at yourself. You know that you are and you like it.

All that is required to know God, to realize the Self or recognize consciousness is to be still.
Pause thoughts for a few moments and awareness of being or 'I' am alone remains self-revealed as one's thoughtless changeless true nature. That is all. So simple one can only laugh at the Joke of it all.

You will always have spiritual and religious people selling water by the River to the ignorant Seekers.
But if you are wise and truly desire to end the Search for the Self that was never lost.

Look at yourself. Just be still. Realize that you are that which remains present when they are no thoughts present. Consciousness is what you already are.The natural state of being awake, aware or conscious which remains present as pure changeless awareness is your true nature. Nothing new whatsoever, but paradoxically simple, plain, common ordinary everyday being-ness or 'I' am-ness.

You are what you Seek. You are the Self already. There is no becoming anything. Consciousness is not some new spiritual or religious state but consciousness is simply what you are naturally. Consciousness is existence. Consciousness is the presence of Life itself.

Q: Is awareness silence or is it space?

Neither.
Awareness is the familiar affectionate 'you' which is always primary and undeniably present to be aware of the state of silence and also present to see and be aware of space. You can be aware of both silence and see space or you can be aware of sounds and see space. You can be aware of thoughts and see space. Anything you can be aware of is not awareness but only appearing and cognized on and by awareness.

Nothing magical about awareness. Common to anyone awake or aware, common to all sentient beings. To simply be aware is awareness itself. That is all that needs to be recognized as one's thoughtless unchanging true nature. Being aware or conscious all day long naturally is the Self or this unchanging awareness.

Awareness is always first hand as the familiar cognizing presence itself which is undeniably present and aware or as the knower of these things. Doesn't matter what you can come up with, it all works in reverse. Awareness is not what is seen or the changing content or objects but the Seer itself, not what is heard but the Hearer itself, not what is known but the Knower itself. Have a look at yourself and realize that awareness is that 'I' am you know so well already. 'I' am is always first hand.

You can be aware of simultaneously silence and see space but awareness is neither. Awareness is the witness of all these things. Awareness is stateless, never coming or going anywhere, it is not a transient state or any thing you can imagine to see or experience but simply the natural activity of knowing, perceiving, cognizing, witnessing everything just as it is.

Have a look at yourself. Who is present and aware of silence? 'I' am.
Who is present and aware of space? 'I' am. 'I' am is always present. Present awareness. Awareness is that 'I' am. Awareness is the knowing presence or perceiving presence or cognizing presence or witnessing presence for both the state of silence and the all encompassing space.

Awareness is nothing new to anyone alive, it is the state of pure being common to everyone alive. Awareness is the 'you' that knows what everything is when you are conscious, awake or aware. Pure awareness is simply pure cognizing, witnessing or perceiving what everything is, just as it is without giving it any acquired name or any kind of label. Just sentience and witnessing what is going on naturally is itself being aware or this present awareness.

Seeing is awareness, hearing is awareness. Being and cognizing everything through the senses is the Self. The Reality present within your own dwelling. There is no other witnessing presence or cognizing presence present anywhere in Omni-presence but awareness itself. Awareness and the 'I' are One. Awareness is the 'I' present in 'I' am. Awareness is just another name for you.

Awareness is the One without a second and the real changeless, thoughtless 'you'.
Every time you say 'I' see or 'I' hear, the thought is only translating what is being perceived by awareness. The Thought is only translating what is but prior to any thoughts awareness is the Pure Seeing and the Pure Hearing. Awareness is non-conceptual.

Discern between thoughts and your real nature. It is very simple and very easy. The thoughtless actuality of cognizing, perceiving is pure awareness itself. Perceiving or being aware is always first hand then the labeling or conceptualization of what is being perceived or registered on awareness may come up as simply translating with thoughts, acquired concepts and words what is actually being cognized or perceived in the moment naturally by your true nature or pure awareness.

It is all very simple really. Everything is cognized just as it is before it is given any names or labels. Forget the names and labels and everything is perceived just as it is on your true nature or pure awareness itself. Pause thoughts and realize that you did not stop seeing or stop hearing, you did not stop being aware.

Realize the simple Truth about the Self i.e. awareness. To be aware naturally everyday is this pure presence of awareness itself. Awareness is being aware. That is the Secret hidden in plain view. Just realize that you are aware and remain aware all day long naturally and effortlessly.

Nothing new, nothing holy, nothing spiritual or religious because pure unchanging awareness present is simply what we call the waking state or the state of knowing that you are present and aware of being conscious or self-awareness.

You know that you are aware anyhow this very moment, 'I' am is certain and that is present awareness or simply knowing that you are conscious, that is the state of pure being common to all. Realize that you already are aware of being, you need not try to be.

Look at yourself here and now, you are not dead or un-conscious or asleep but awake, present and aware of being yourself naturally and undeniably lively and buoyant. Awareness is the same as wakeful-ness or conscious-ness.

When awareness is present you are not still or silent like dead people are. When awareness is present you are lively. You are happy to be alive and you know that you are present and aware of being yourself all day long naturally and that is the true Self or this present awareness you know so well already as your own affectionate being. Awareness is being.

Awareness is not to be freshly acquired, reached or attained. Awareness is already here. Knowing that you are alive and well this very moment is awareness itself. You do not have to kick start awareness or cultivate awareness. Self-shining like the Sun. Being aware is present awareness itself.

Awareness of being present as oneself is 'I' am. Awareness is the knowing that you are present or that 'I' am you know so well as your very own being.

After all, who ever said that awareness was anything new, special, spiritual, different or far away? Paradoxically so common to all, so plain and so ordinary to everyone alive, awareness is undeniably present closer than close always. No one can separate oneself from awareness. It is impossible. Awareness is 'I' am. 'I' am is awareness itself. 'I' am is that.

Awareness is the core of your own being. Plain and simple. Without trying to be anything else. Awareness is simply being yourself naturally. The 'I' you know so well as your very own affectionate everyday self is this immutable presence of awareness itself. The 'I' and awareness are One.

Awareness is just another name for 'you'. Gee! yoU aRe yoU. Who am 'I'? After all you know that you are, awareness is present because 'I' am is certain. Awareness is the knowing that you are. Awareness is 'I' am.

Nothing new but so familiar is awareness to everybody and always present and unchanging that awareness is very subtle and easily overlooked simply because it is no-thing new. That affectionate being-ness which is always present and unchanging with you is awareness. Again and again. Awareness is the most familiar, the most common, the most plain and most ordinary affectionate presence you have always known yourself to be.

After all, 'I' am is always with you. No one can deny his own existence, no one can deny his own being.
Look at yourself. You know that you are alive and you like it. That is awareness. Awareness of being is bliss.

Q: Jean Pierre when you say that there is no 'me' present,
do you mean that there is no personal me or ego present but 'me' present as awareness only?

Yes exactly!
Put awareness on everything and you know the Oneness or Omni-presence to be 'you'. Gee! yoU aRe yoU.

Thou art that already. Awareness is just another name for me, myself and 'I' or 'you'. You have never been anything else anyhow. You simply forgot yourself, you forgot that 'you' being yourself just as you are this very moment are and have always been the One without a second or the Reality playing a part in a mortal dream of individuality.

The body is not the real you but part of this changing dream we call the world, you are the host in the body, you are the unseen living power, the living intelligence, the living-ness and awareness present in the body.

You are formless and egoless, you are the Oneness. The Spirit of eternal Life if you like that we call awareness, consciousness or existence. The Living presence that is shining through your eyes this very moment as the witnessing, perceiving, cognizing and unseen knowing presence.

All there is present as yourself right here and now is pure unchanging awareness itself, consciousness or the Self. You are the One without a second this very moment, you are That. All there is present as yourself this very moment is this present awareness and 'you' are that presence of awareness without trying to be.

If you are aware of being yourself then awareness is undeniably present as the knowing that you are. Present awareness is this awareness of being present, it is that 'I' am you know so well as your own affectionate everyday self and being.

The only mistake is the false belief that me, myself and 'I' is a finite self limited to the body when in fact me, myself and 'I' is egoless formless unchanging awareness. The One Self expressing itself as many. Awareness is the Oneness and the very core Omni-present in all sentient beings.

Just like all waves rising, moving and disappearing on the surface of the Ocean are and always remain Ocean in nature. Nothing is ever lost. Patterns form and disappear but the essence is always remains the same.

Here is the Open Secret to so Called 'Enlightenment'! Being aware is itself always being the real Self, He, the unchanging Reality, the Oneness and that. You are that means you are awareness itself this very moment simply being 'you' and nothing else but that. Just this awareness is present a yourself and nothing else.

Being aware of being yourself right here and right now just as you are undeniably, effortlessly, naturally and have always been aware of being yourself your entire life is itself being this affectionate immutable awareness itself. Awareness is what you are and have always known yourself to be.

It is nothing new, awareness is simply overlooked until pointed to and recognized as being your real self or your unchanging true nature. How new or different can your unchanging true nature be? When it is what you always are and have always been.

The ultimate Truth is so simple. 'I' know that 'I' am or present awareness is awareness. Be still and know that 'I' am is that. Are 'you' aware of being present as yourself? Yes 'I' am. 'I' am is present awareness. You know that 'you' are. 'I' am is certain and that pure awareness of being present as yourself needs no proof.

You are the One without a second. You are that present awareness in absolute totality, the belief of ego or individuality or to be an independent self or personal 'me' is erroneous because a finite self or ego never existed. Duality doesn't exist. You are He this very moment just being what you are and have always been effortlessly, simply being yourself naturally is being your true nature.

Being 'you' is being the true Self already. That is the final goal and realization. 'You' are that. To realize that here and now 'you' are that simply being 'you'. No effort is required to be as you are. You and awareness are one and the same presence of existence and being-ness or 'I' am-ness. You already are what you Seek this very moment. Thou art that. Therefore the Search is itself the trap.

There is no becoming or attaining anything new or different for Freedom, there never was and there never will be. Call off the Search. Only ignorance is the culprit and illusory veil that seemingly covers up this simple truth about yourself. Me, myself and 'I' as a personal individual self or independent entity do not exist apart from the true Self or the One eternal Self.

Like with water and ice there is no ice without water. The so called self-Real-'I'-zation is that in fact me, myself and 'I' is this Oneness itself already. You are egoless this very moment. Everything about 'you' is that awareness and nothing else. That is the Open Secret to non-duality, no two selves ever existed. Here and now 'you' are that or Gee! yoU aRe yoU. You are the One without two.

Q: Is God ordinary everyday awareness of being oneself?

Yes! Being oneself naturally or simply being alive and aware of being alive is consciousness and consciousness is just another name for Life, existence or God. Like with water and ice, there is no ice without water.

There couldn't be no Life or existence without consciousness present as the living presence and unseen power in the body, we all know this undeniable living-ness or consciousness as being one's own self or as the 'I' present in 'I' am. There no 'I' am without the 'I' present first and foremost. The 'I' is pure consciousness, the Real self or God.

Being is knowing that you are. 'I' exist here and know is 'I' am present and aware of being. You know that you are present , therefore you are alive and aware of being alive. Alive-ness, Living-ness, conscious-ness, aware-ness, being-ness, 'I' am-ness are all synonymous with being the Self or God.

God is nothing spiritual or religious. God is existence, God is Life, God is being oneself naturally. God is that 'I' am you know so well as your own plain and ordinary everyday self and being. Nothing new or special about being oneself naturally. What effort do you make to be? 'I' am is first hand and that knowing that you are, that you exist, that you are present and aware needs no proof.

God is nothing other than simply being what you are and have always been naturally your entire life. The natural state of being aware is consciousness and Life is this presence of consciousness itself. Some people call Life God and others God Life. God, the Self, He, the Reality. Same presence of existence just different names.

God is 'I' am and 'I' am is God. 'I' am is at once knowing that you are alive and being aware of being yourself all day long and God. Present awareness. Being and consciousness is 'I' am. God is the same presence of existence, consciousness, Life you already know so well as your own plain ordinary affectionate self and being. Consciousness is just another name for you. You are consciousness. You are Life. You are Life. You are God.

To be or not to be. Consciousness is the knowing that you are. Being alive is being. Being alive and knowing it is 'I' am. God is that 'I' am you know so well. God is awareness of being. If you know that you are present as yourself, if you cannot say that you are dead but that 'I' am is certain, then God is present as the knowing that you are present itself.

God is consciousness and consciousness is this plain common affectionate awareness of being yourself, that is the Secret self-shining in plain view. Every time you say 'I' this or 'I' that you are truly talking about the Self, the Reality, consciousness or God without realizing it.

Everyone is always abiding as the real Self, consciousness or God, but they do not know it. Ignorant Seekers falsely believe in duality and separation, ignorant Seekers believe that the 'I' is ego or a finite self limited to a body when in fact being oneself naturally or the 'I' is the Infinite Self itself.

The 'I' is not different from the Lord but One and the same, the 'I' is the Father and the Son, the 'I' is in fact the Oneness, the 'I' is the absolute Reality or Real-'I-'ty, consciousness or God. The One without a second is the 'I' you know so well as your own self and being. You are egoless, formless consciousness.

Who am 'I'? Remove ignorance. Know the Truth, that the 'I' is not different from the Lord. The 'I' is that or 'you' are that. Be what you are simply being just as you are. You are that consciousness already.

Only ignorance about one's true nature is to be removed for Freedom. Not striving to attain or to become anything new, anything different, spiritual or special. Spirituality and religions point away from the Truth, not to it.

Being alive and being aware of being alive here and now is the natural state of being aware and therefore the undeniable knowing that you are.

God is that present awareness, God is that knowing-ness that you are alive and kicking, that is what consciousness simply is, it is 'I' am. God is that 'I' am you know as your own undeniable presence, undeniable living-ness, existence, being. Who is not aware of being present as himself? Each one knows that they are. Everybody knows consciousness is present because everyone knows and says 'I' am.

Simply put, the bottom line to Freedom is to simply realize that you are conscious, awake and aware here and now and that is your natural state of being. Changeless awareness of being is the knowing that you are present, present awareness or plain common ordinary awareness of being. Never coming or going but present as simple awareness is being or as the knowing that you are or 'I' am.

Being conscious, awake and aware is the state of pure being common to all and always experienced directly by everybody as conscious-ness, wakeful-ness, aware-ness and of course 'I' am-ness.
That is all the fuss is all about. You are that 'I' am-ness or present awareness.

Get to know your real Self. Realize that you are and remain aware or awake or conscious. That is the awareness itself being pointed to as the Self. That is what the Self truly is, simple changeless awareness common to all as plain ordinary everyday wakeful-ness or sentience.

Nothing spiritual, nothing religious or special whatsoever about awareness. Simple changeless being is one's true nature. That is all it is. Present closer than close to oneself always, there is no separation from awareness because it is simply being oneself. That is the joke of it all.

Once you know this simple Truth about the Self or awareness and recognize for yourself that to simply be awake from sleep is to be conscious or aware, then you laugh at yourself for Seeking the Self i.e. awareness or consciousness or wakeful-ness as some holy state of Enlightenment, spiritual experience or as some flashing light.

Never far away. Never apart for an instant. Look at yourself here and now. You are awake, conscious and aware already, you need not try to be. Here and now you are that. Awareness is being as you are right here and now, being awake, conscious and aware of being yourself. Awareness is 'I' am.

What about Enlightened Gurus and holy beings, some even wearing white robes with beautiful Sanskrit or spiritual names, staring into people's eyes for ten minutes pretending to transmit some holy Grace or spiritual presence? Some will even sell silent to the ignorant Suckers who believes that the Self or the Reality is to be found in so holy place, with holy person and acquiring holy things all for a fee of course.

Kill these Mother F#$kers, any holy beings or Buddhas you believe you are seeing on the Road is false, illusion, not true. These people are only self-appointed religious and spiritual scammers and full of crap. They are only pretending to be a holy or special spiritual being for show to be worship by idiots, all for money, sex and gratification.

God is nothing other than the natural state of being alive here and now, God is pure awareness of being oneself all day long naturally. God is common ordinary awareness present as plain ordinary everyday wakeful-ness or present awareness. God is awareness of being oneself. God is being. God is 'I' am.

Not some special or holy 'I' am but simply me, myself and 'I'. Plain common ordinary everyday awareness of being. Never far away but present closer than close. Hidden in plain sight. God is simply being oneself naturally everyday, it is that 'I' am you know so well. No one ever fails to experience God or Life or consciousness or existence everyday as simply being. One's own existence is itself the Divine or God. Life is God.

The Self is always present one's own affectionate everyday self and plain ordinary being, nothing new or spiritual about being oneself. Plain and ordinary. Awareness is nothing new but what you are and have always been naturally your whole life. Lively and buoyant. The natural state of being aware is awareness, the Self and God. Being alive, being conscious, being aware is the knowing that you are.

Remove ignorance if you desire to Free. That is all Freedom is all about Nothing new, spiritual or special is to be freshly acquired. Awareness is the natural state of being aware or awake or conscious common to everybody. Nothing else. No time or effort is required to know one's true nature. There is absolutely nothing you have to do to be aware. If you are conscious then awareness is present as pure awareness of being. Awareness present is 'I' am.
Who said Freedom was hard or difficult?

Q: What about Prayer?

Prayer to whom?
There is no God out there to pray to.
People only pray to some mental fantasy due to ignorance.

The Kingdom is in you, present as Life itself. Prayer is just a religious concept of separation and duality. Prayer is only pure ignorance that is cultivated by the ignorant, just this and nothing else.

After all, whom to pray to in Omni-presence? There is no duality or separation. God is you are.

You are the Self, you are He, you are God. You are the One without two. Forget prayer and all that crap. Turn within and Realize that you yourself are the One. God is that 'I' am you know so well as your own everyday familiar self and being. No ritual is to be performed. No spiritual or religious practice of any kind is to be performed to be the Self or God.

Being alive is being the Oneness or consciousness or God. He is Life itself.
God is that 'I' am that you are right here and right now, it is pure existence, pure being.
God is the knowing that you are present here and now as yourself, knowing that you exist this very moment is God.

Know the Truth about your real identity and you will laugh at all these spiritual and religious concepts of Grace, God, Prayer and everything else you have been told by Priests, Holy Gurus and Buddhas, it is all crap, pure garbage. A spiritual and religious God do not exist. God as a spiritual presence and religious entity to pray to is a Myth.

Consciousness is God. 'I' am is God. The activity of being alive and aware or aware-ness or to be conscious and remain conscious or present awareness is God himself. That is all there is to Realize about God, simply that 'I' am is that present awareness or consciousness itself or God i.e. Life.

Forget all religious concept of God it is all garbage, pure ignorance and idiocy, take it for granted.
To simply be alive and aware of being oneself naturally all day long or to be conscious is at once 'I' am and God. To exist is to be alive and to be aware of being alive is to be God. God is 'I' am. 'I' exist is God. 'I' am is God. Everybody knows and says 'I' am.

God is simple common to all present awareness or pure awareness of being or knowing that you are alive and present. Right here and right now you are God. No time or effort is required to know that you are alive this very moment, that you are conscious, undeniably aware of being present. You know that you are not dead. That affectionate awareness of being is 'I' am. Being aware of being oneself naturally is consciousness, awareness and 'I' am.

Wisdom is to know thyself. To know God is very easy. Know yourself and you know God to be present as yourself. Nothing new or religious or spiritual about God, simply realize that right here and now God is present as Life itself, existence itself , consciousness itself. As the knowing that you are alive and kicking. God is that 'I' am you know so well as your own existence, as your own self and being. 'I' and God are One and the same presence of Life, existence, consciousness. No difference whatsoever.

There is no need to pray for God when God is always expressing himself as yourself every moment. You are that. You are and have always been this Oneness and nothing else. You are egoless. Everything about you is God. A to Z. Forget all religious and spiritual concepts and ideology about a holy being, spiritual presence or power that some believe is God, it is all crap.

Life is consciousness. Consciousness is God. He is Life itself. 'I' exist this very moment is being God. It is pure awareness of being. That knowing that you are alive, that knowing that you exist right here and now is the presence of God, Life or consciousness itself and that is 'I' am.

Being is God. No difference. Being alive is being God. Being conscious is being God. Being aware is being God. Being oneself is being God. To exist and to know that 'I' exist right here and now is at once being and consciousness and that alone is being God. God is 'I' am. Same awareness of being you have always known yourself to be. Nothing new, nothing religious or spiritual about God. Simple changeless awareness of being is one's true nature or that alone is consciousness or God.

Look at yourself. Are you alive? Are you conscious? Are you aware? You know that you are?
Awareness of being alive and present as yourself naturally is consciousness. That is God.
No ritual, no practice, no method, no priest, no teacher, no Guru is required to know God. Just look at yourself and realize that God is that 'I' am you know so well as your own affectionate self and everyday being. That is all.

Everybody experiences God directly everyday as pure awareness of being. Everybody experiences God directly as the natural state of being conscious, the natural state of being awake from sleep and therefore aware. So simple. That aware-ness or conscious-ness experienced everyday as the waking state by everybody alive is God. God is the plain common to all ordinary everyday activity of being aware and remaining aware all day or conscious or awake. One can only laugh at the joke of it all. God is always present so near and so dear. Never far away. God is being aware of being oneself. God is 'I' am.

If you know that you are alive this very moment, if you are sure that you are not dead or in deep sleep, but absolutely certain that you are you are alive, conscious, awake and aware of being present right now as yourself or naturally and effortlessly aware of being yourself just as you are, then you are Enlightened. 'I' am is God. Dead people do not say 'I' am. Consciousness or Life has left the body. No consciousness present , no 'I' am. Consciousness present is 'I' am. 'I' am represents consciousness itself or the Spirit of Life.

Life doesn't know death. Life is the imperishable Self. Life or consciousness is eternal.
Just like when a long dream ends, nothing truly happened. When this seemingly mortal dream of individuality ends, nothing happens to the Spirit of life itself which is consciousness. It remains the same, untouched by death and eternal.

Q: What about 'Satsang'?

There is no such thing as Satsang. Just some Hindu religious dualistic concept that has only been used to entice imbeciles to foolishly believe that God is appearing as a person, a place or a thing. That is all religious and spiritual garbage. A spiritual carrot to entice the dumb and the weak to believe the false to be true. Satsang is only and truly for idiots that like to worship illusion, worship the false or ignorance. That religious concept of satsang is only attractive to the veiled Seekers that believe outside themselves is the Reality or God. Nothing else. The wise knows that if you see a Buddha or God outside yourself, kill him, it is only the greatest illusion.

True Satsang is simply the natural state of being alive common to everybody. One's own affectionate immutable being, one's very own undeniable living-ness or existence is itself the Divine, the Self or God. No separation whatsoever. You are Life. You are the Living presence and unseen power functioning your body and expressing itself naturally as yourself here and now.

The Self is always present and self-shining as that 'I' am you know so well already, it is not some person or some thing outside of you, it is what you are and have always been. You yourself are the Self this very moment. You are that always simply being yourself naturally everyday, without ever trying to be. The simple fact that you exist is the Self.

Have a look and see. Can you separate yourself from yourself? Can you separate yourself from your own affectionate familiar self and everyday being?

You cannot separate yourself from the Self for it is the very core of your own existence, it is Life itself, consciousness is the Reality itself, consciousness or Life is the Self, God, the Divine. When ever you are conscious or aware of being you are instantly abiding as the Reality, as the Self itself, consciousness or the Self is pure awareness of being. It is 'I' am.

True Satsang is being oneself. That is all it is. True Satsang is 'I' am. True Satsang is being. Can you deny being? Can you deny your very own existence right here and now and say 'I' am not? No one can deny his own being.

That is what true Satsang really means, that simply being oneself naturally is always being the true Self or true consciousness itself. The Self is being conscious and aware of being. There is nothing more to realize. The realization is that 'I' and the Self are One and the same presence of consciousness, Life, existence. No difference between the 'I' and the Self or the Lord. Same, same.

Know the Truth, that no object, no Guru or Buddha, no Enlightened person, place or thing will ever be the Reality. 'I' am is the only Real-'I'-ty or the Self. 'I' am is the Lord. 'I' am is God and you are that simply being just as you are, simply being alive and aware of being.

Anyone that you can see outside yourself is always going to be illusion, what comes and goes is not real. That unchanging presence of awareness which is with you always that doesn't come and go anywhere but that is always naturally and effortlessly present and self-shining naturally is itself the Divine. That is what the Reality or the Self is, simple changeless awareness, the natural state of being aware is God.

Turn within. All blessings come from within, that is where the Reality always reside as pure changeless being. Outside is impermanent illusion, within your very own dwelling is the unchanging eternal Reality, we call it Life, existence, consciousness, being. We all know it so well already as 'I' am.

Flush all that spiritual and religious crap down the toilet and just be still.
What remains present without thoughts present is the true Self. It is pure awareness of being, it is 'I' am. Be still and know that 'I' am is pure awareness, the Self or God. That present awareness is your thoughtless unchanging true nature. The Self you have never lost.

Understanding what the Self simply is and recognizing this affectionate presence of awareness to simply be one's thoughtless true nature is all that is required to end the Search. Not to look for awareness far and away but to realize that to be aware is to be the Self or this presence of awareness itself.

Q: What about 'Karma'?

There is no such thing as "karma", just another spiritual belief that you have acquired from a book or picked up along the way on your spiritual search, and you added that acquired concept to your belief system. So you don't have to worry for the sky to fall on your head or to go wash off all your sins or beat yourself up, for whatever terrible thing happened a year ago in your life and you are trying to right the wrongs, for nothing is really happening for anyone.

If you believe that you are a separate entity with personal will or volition, then you will erroneously see yourself as a independent "doer" and that you can make things happen for yourself, with the belief that you are in control of your life, of your destiny and to some extent to what happens in it.

That is, of course in appearance or illusion only! In reality you are being lived and your entire life is effortlessly orchestrated by pure Intelligence or pure Consciousness. There is nothing else that is present in you, no other Presence, no other Power, no other Intelligence.

There is no room for anything else to exist! There is no room in Omni-Presence for a personal separate entity to be present in you and Consciousness! There is no room within this Omni-Power for anything else or independent entity that can do anything of it's own free will, no one other and nothing other whatsoever! Only this Oneness, this pure Consciousness or this Universal Omni-Presence is the only Presence and the only Power! Just "that" is present with you, and nothing else!

If you realize that there is no personal independent doer and choice maker present in you, and that your life has always been lived for you, naturally and effortlessly by this Omni-Presence that you truly are. If you see that there is no "me" present in you right now, then what karma can there be? Karma for whom? If you see that there is no one or no independent entity present in you, that ever had any personal power to do anything whatsoever, of it's own or independent volition as a cause, then can there be an effect?

No individual! No "me"! No "ego"! No one that is present with you, that could do, or choose anything whatsoever in life of it's own free will, if you truly see it for yourself, not just an intellectual understanding from reading words, but a deep, deep re-cognition in your heart and knowing beyond understanding, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is no one present in you right now, but pure Consciousness, then how can there be any effect for anybody?

As soon as you see the falseness of all this, that it is all a divine play of Oneness or pure Universal Consciousness. That there never was a personal separated "me" or "ego" present with you ever, your entire life. Than there is no more individual "me" or independent "doer" to erroneously give the credit of your actions and past actions, "karma" is no longer valid for you! Only this Universal Consciousness was ever present as you in the past and just this Universal Consciousness is present as you right now! You have seen through the illusion of separation and you realize that you, yourself are pure Universal Consciousness and the only Omni-Presence. Than nothing is wrong anymore or out of place anywhere!

You realize that your entire life is and always has been, unfolding exactly as it is supposed to unfold, effortlessly and all by itself, just like a Dream! Solely governed by this Universal natural Intelligence that is functioning and taking care of everyone and everything naturally, from the smallest atom of your body and simultaneously each one of the Trillions of Galaxies, planets, Stars and Beings in this entire Universe!

Realize that this Living Universal Intelligence is living itself as you right now, and this Intelligence or Life doesn't care about karma! Whatever happens in your life, with all it's ups and downs, that you may appear to be going through, it is always the will of this Omni-Presence, Universal Intelligence or LIFE and nothing can ever touch you, including death! Because Consciousness or Life does not know death, and you are the living Spirit of Life itself

Q: I am trying to be less involved with the thinking process and thought reacting process
and I am trying to be more aware of the present moment.

When I am present in the instant and look inside myself and invite thoughts, nothing comes up,
is that being in the awareness? I mean just in these few second I can remain empty, yet pretty much myself just more aware of what is happening in me, is that being the awareness?

Yes that is IT! Pause thoughts and you are there. So simple isn't it?
That is the very presence of awareness being pointed to as your unchanging true nature.

All that is required to recognize awareness or realize the Self is to be still. Just like that. That is all.
Whenever you are still and pause thoughts your true nature is self-revealed effortlessly as pure awareness, as pure changeless being.

That is the trick to Freedom. Be still and realize that only thoughts disappear but you yourself always remain present and aware regardless, you remain present and aware of being but simply thoughtless or empty as you say.

That is your natural state of being or thoughtless Reality. You simply remain present and aware of being yourself naturally and that is pure unchanging awareness itself. That unchanging awareness of being yourself is given many names, some call this immutable presence of unchanging awareness He, the Self, the Reality or God. That is what 'I' am represents. That unchanging awareness is what you truly are and have always been. Awareness is pure changeless being, not coming or going anywhere.

That is the Open Secret to Freedom, just be still and Self-shining awareness always remains present.
Nothing is required to be aware, it is the most natural and effortless activity common to everybody
alive, awareness is so familiar as our ever-present true nature that it is simply overlooked until clearly pointed to and then easily recognized to be one's changeless thoughtless true nature.

That affectionate ordinary subtle presence of awareness is itself the 'Moon' that is being pointed to
as the eternal Self and the unchanging Reality itself. Once you realize that whenever you pause thoughts you always remain present as pure unchanging awareness itself, then let everything be naturally. Awareness doesn't come or go anywhere anyhow. You cannot separate yourself from that.
Because you are that.

Let all thoughts come and let all thoughts go but realize that being aware or awareness doesn't come and doesn't go anywhere. It is unchanging and remains present as the witnessing presence or the Knower. To be aware and remain aware is your unchanging true nature, that is the true Self people like Ramana and Nisargadatta were talking about.

Just this and nothing else! This simple plain ordinary presence of affectionate awareness is the Lord. Never far away but always present closer than close. Nothing new but simple changeless awareness of being yourself is in fact your thoughtless Reality.

The Realization or understanding is that consciousness is the only reality present in you, the actuality or 'Power' functioning and doing everything for you naturally and effortlessly through you.

What that really means is that whatever you believe you have the power to do as an individual or independent entity is not true! Realize that whatever you do in your life, everything you can come up with that you may believe you have ever done in your life, are doing and will ever do, there is no 'ego' or personal entity doing it! No independent 'doer' only Consciousness is the real doer and the true Power. All there is present as yourself entirely is consciousness or awareness or the Self. You are the One without a second from A to Z already and have always been all this time without realize it. Consciousness or awareness is nothing new but in fact what you are everyday and every moment simply being just as you are and doing all that you do all day long naturally.

Nothing new. Gee! yoU are yoU. There is no ego. You are egoless right now, right now you are the Self. Consciousness or awareness is what you are and have always been naturally. Here and now you are that.
That you like it or not, you cannot be anything else. Ego is not. Therefore you are the Oneness already.

No effort is required for consciousness to be. Look at yourself. Being yourself is being the Self.

There is no individual 'seer', there is only Pure Consciousness Seeing.
There is no individual 'hearer', there is only Pure Consciousness Hearing.
There is no individual 'speaker', there is only Pure Consciousness Speaking.
There is no individual 'thinker', there is only Pure Consciousness Thinking.
There is no individual' doer', there is only Pure Consciousness Doing.
There is no individual 'life', there is only Pure Consciousness Living.
There is no individual 'breather', there is only Pure Consciousness breathing.

Q: If all the religious Teachers and self-appointed Gurus are truly con artists why do people Seek them?

Only the sad and pathetic people that are unhappy with being alive Seek illusionary Gods, spiritual deities and self-appointed Gurus or Buddhas to make them feel good for awhile about themselves and about their affairs.

Some people want to escape the world into fantasy. Usually weak and simple people fall for the religious and spiritual trap. Never inquiring or investigating what is real and what is illusion.

Rare is the one who investigates the Truth for himself and realizes that a religious and spiritual God does not exist at all. It never did and never will. Only in people's fantasy that there is a God present, only in people's false imagination and acquired spiritual and religious beliefs that these brainwashed people believe in holy beings, spiritual entities, angels, saints and Gods.

After all, if the inquiry is made about a God somewhere present. It will be found that there is no God present anywhere. What God? Look for it and it will not be found. Can you see God present anywhere? Can you show me God? Of course not, it is only illusion. People only believe in God. Just spiritual and religious beliefs nothing more.

Who ever seeks a God in any spiritual and religious ways will only gain the religious beliefs, practices, rituals according to the religion doctrines, dogmas and it's leaders ways. These spiritual and religious people only worship and pray to illusion their entire lives without realizing it.

Reality is not fiction. Reality is undeniably present here and now as Life itself. All there is present is consciousness and consciousness is already undeniably present within your own dwelling here and now as Life itself and as plain ordinary awareness of being yourself or 'I' am.

God is simply Life itself or that 'I' am you know so well already. Nothing religious or spiritual about being alive. Consciousness is what is real, consciousness is Life itself. Consciousness is undeniable. Consciousness is pure existence, it is pure being. Reality is 'I' am.

Omni-presence is consciousness or existence. Everybody knows 'I' am. No one can deny his own existence and say 'I' am not. Being is 'I' exist. Simple changeless being is one's true nature or plain ordinary everyday existence is this presence of consciousness itself that everybody without exception already knows so well and experiences directly as simply being alive, as being conscious, as being aware.

Consciousness is the only Real presence of existence functioning the body naturally and expressing itself so lively and buoyant as pure existence, as the Life essence present in all sentient beings.

The Kingdom is in you. Turn within to that 'I' am you know. That is the only Reality self-shining within your own dwelling. Present as Life itself. No one can deny one's own existence. No one can deny his own being. Existence is the same as happiness and happiness is the same as being. Why should one Seek it? Awareness of being alive here and now is happiness or bliss.

Forget spirituality and religions and all it's Teachers, Priest and Gurus it is all garbage, it is all poison, not the cure.
If your earnest desire is for Freedom, then simply get to know your very own affectionate everyday self. You are what you Seek. Thou art that. That is all that needs to be done. Get to know who am 'I' first and foremost. And 'I' am is self-revealed to be consciousness itself and that is your eternal true nature.

We always experience consciousness directly everyday it as pure awareness of being, as existence itself, as the knowing that you are present, as present awareness, as 'I' am.

Q: Is consciousness different from awareness?

No! Both are one and the same presence, no difference whatsoever.
Being conscious, being aware are synonymous with being one's true nature.

The presence of awareness is simply being aware naturally or wakeful, that is the most familiar and common to all plain ordinary everyday state of being conscious that we call aware-ness.

The waking state is the conscious state or aware state and everyone's natural state of being or what some call the thoughtless Reality.

That is all there is to realize about one's unchanging true nature. You are awareness simply being aware of being yourself naturally, just being naturally or simply the natural activity of being conscious or being wakeful.

Being aware is the natural state of unchanging awareness that everyone without exception always experiences directly as simple changeless awareness of being oneself.

That is what being oneself or 'I' am truly represents, the knowing that you are present or present awareness, awareness is just another name for being aware of being oneself naturally or the knowing that you are.

There isn't anyone that doesn't know and say 'I' am. Everybody is always aware of being oneself.
Being what you are and have always been effortlessly and naturally everyday of your entire life is nothing other than this presence of awareness. Never lost, apart or far away. You are that this very moment.

That is all what the fuss is simply all about, nothing new, nothing different or special.
That is what a Realized Sage, Enlightened Master, holy Guru or great Jnani has realized for himself.

He or she understood that simply being conscious or awake or aware everyday is consciousness or unchanging awareness itself and that subtle presence of unchanging awareness is simply being one's thoughtless true nature or thoughtless Reality. Be still, pause thoughts and awareness alone remains present and self-revealed as pure changeless being or as 'I' am. 'I' am is always with you.

That is all there is to realize to know the thoughtless Reality i.e. awareness. It is that 'I' am you know so well. To realize that you are aware and remain aware all day long or conscious and that consciousness is what some call the Self.

Simply the effortlessly immutable ordinary everyday state of being conscious or consciousness is that, that alone is the Self, He, the Reality or God. Nothing new under the Sun. 'I' am is that presence of awareness. Be still and know that 'I' am is that. That is all. You are that.

You are already there! To know the Self or this presence of awareness simply be yourself. No time or effort is required for awareness or the Reality to be. Look at yourself. You are conscious, awake and aware anyhow and therefore you need not try to be.

Q: Some enlightened people claim that they do not exist and that there is no one present,
what do you make of that?

These people are idiots and ignorant of the Oneness.

In fact 'you' and everybody else is the One without a second and pure existence itself.
Being yourself is being the eternal Self. The imperishable Self is your very own self, your very own existence, you very own being. Existence is another word for being. Being is 'I' am.

'I' am is nothing other than simply being oneself naturally every single day of one's life or plain common ordinary everyday awareness of being present, conscious and aware i.e. present awareness.
Another name for this present awareness is the sate of being awake or consciousness.

No one alive can deny one's own existence even though one cannot see it, everyone is aware of being, everybody knows and says 'I' am all day long, 'I' am is always certain. 'I' exist right here and now is first hand and one's own undeniable existence needs no proof. Who is not aware of being? Who doesn't know 'I' am?

Existence is just another name for God, for the true Self, for one's unchanging true nature and eternal Reality. Consciousness is 'I' am and that is the real existence. 'I' am is God or the Eternal Self.

That is all there is to realize about your own self, about your own being, about simply being yourself or that 'I' am you know so well and speak of all day long as your own common ordinary everyday awareness of being or existence, that you yourself are the One and existence itself.

You cannot die! You are the immortal Self. Fire cannot burn you, water cannot drown you and the sword cannot cut you, you are the imperishable Self simply being just as you are without any effort.

Your very own being is that presence of imperishable immortal existence. Your very existence is itself the Divine. You are the imperishable Spirit of Life itself. Just like the eye cannot see itself nor be denied. Existence cannot be grasped or denied. Existence is pure being. Awareness of being is existence. What can be any simpler than Omni-presence when 'you' always are the One?

'I' am is that Oneness or 'you' are that. Have a look at your own being. Be still, do you stop being?
Of course not, be still and know that 'I' exist, 'I' am present and aware of being myself here and now is God.

Be wise and beware of what many of these so called spiritual enlightened people say or put into books, you must question and investigate everything, inquiry is a must and always take it all with a grain of salt, the false cannot stand up to inquiry, that is how you alone can prove it to yourself.

Many Teachers and self-appointed Gurus are just nice enticing spiritual con artist with spiritual names and appearance putting on a spiritual show, so that weak and simple people will follow them.

Usually a fee is required. They must have an audience. Truth doesn't pay. Cashing in on people's ignorance and despair by sinking them deeper into illusion and ignorance all along with a smile on their face and word of love, grace and compassion.

Some people want to sell the Moon, these are con artists, the honest pointer doesn't want to sell the moon to anybody but only point to it, that is all a true pointer really is, someone that points to one's true nature, not camouflage the simple truth with religious and spiritual carrots and crap.

The ultimate Truth is very simple, very plain and ordinary to everyone alive. Simply overlooked it is so near and so dear to oneself. All and only because Seekers are seemingly lost in their dream, never realizing that chasing after some spiritual illusion of a Buddha they see on the Road will never bring about the Reality.

Awareness is the presence of existence itself. There is none other. Present awareness is 'I' am or 'I' exist. 'I' and awareness are One and the same presence of existence. Living-ness, alive-ness, being-ness, 'I' am-ness are all synonymous with existence. In fact it all about existence or 'I' am. All about being. To be or to exist is the Self. The Self is being oneself. To be or not to be? Who is not aware of being? No one can deny one's own existence simply because it is the Reality itself.

Therefore to know the Self just be yourself. That is all the fuss is all about. Everybody is always the real Self, simply being themselves naturally or being aware, they simply do not realize that being alive, awake and aware naturally is itself always being the Self. Just this and nothing else. Omni-presence. There is only One presence of awareness.

Q: Are you saying that all spiritual and religious Gurus are selling a myth and illusion?

Gurus are liars that only the weak and the simple believe are telling the Truth.
The Guru doesn't have anything that you do not have already, only the ignorant believes that they do.

Enticing the veiled Seekers, the simple and the weak to chase after illusion, myths, stories and spiritual carrots.

It is all a paradox, if you see a Buddha on the Road kill him, you are doing the world a favor, because it is only a fraud. No Guru, no Teacher, no method or practice of any kind is required for Reality to be present right here and right now as Life itself. Existence is God. He is Life itself.

There is no spiritual or religious God. There never was. Man just invented these concepts to control others and get the Sheepos to obey and follow the rules of man. That is all religions and spirituality is truly all about. Money, power and sex.

So much man inhumanity to man has been done throughout the ages all and only in the name of a fictitious God. There is no God hidden somewhere in the sky looking down from above. God is Life.

There is no such thing as Enlightenment, nirvana, karma, dharma, heaven or hell etc, there are no Godly people, Saints and holy beings, that is all crap, that is all B.S.

A spiritual or religious Guru is only a fraud take it for granted, someone playing a part and that is only using religious myths and enticing concepts of Love, God, Freedom, Happiness etc to control idiots to foolishly believe illusion to be reality.

These spiritual and religious scammers are the ones getting what they truly desire for themselves by milking the ignorant and vulnerable Seekers, all in the name of God or the One or Love or the Lord or for eternal Peace, salvation and happiness etc. It is all fiction and fantasy package neatly.

Paradoxically people Seeking Reality are always looking away from the Reality. A strange paradox. How can the 'I' see itself? Not knowing what God is truly all about is the only false notion of bondage, ignorance is the only culprit and obstacle to liberation.

Some people eventually see through the false as false and that is called liberation.

Then the Search for the self that was never lost but always present closer than close to oneself is over.

'I' am is the Self, the Lord or God. 'I' am is that. The Self is just another name for 'you'. You are the Self itself meaning present awareness. To be aware is present awareness. To be conscious is consciousness and you are that. To be conscious or awake from sleep is pure awareness of being, it is that 'I' am you know so well already.

To be alive is to be the Self. He is Life itself that is all. Nothing new under the Sun. Your body is Life's temple and the Spirit of Life or God lives in you as you. Gee yoU aRe yoU already. 'Who am 'I'? Know thyself! Know the simple Truth about 'you'. I' am is at once plain ordinary everyday common to all awareness of being oneself or present awareness and the Lord. That is all what so called self-Realization is truly all about. Nothing new! Realizing that simply being alive, being present, being awake and therefore being aware just as you are right now is being the One without a second already.

Realize that you are present awareness meaning that you are awake, conscious and therefore awareness is undeniably present as the knowing that you are present as yourself, you are sentient and that is it, that is the Self. Nothing new but plain ordinary present awareness of awareness of being present as yourself, same, same.

We call this affectionate plain and ordinary presence of unchanging awareness the "waking state", the state of being aware and remaining aware all day long naturally is this unchanging presence of awareness itself, it is pure changeless being. It is 'I' am. Everyone's natural state of being.

After all, you must be conscious first and foremost for anything else to be, how can you know if it is day or night, hot or cold etc, if you are not conscious, not awake or not aware. You will only laugh at yourself when you finally understand what is simply being pointed to as the true Self, He, the Reality or God.

Know the Truth. There is nothing new to get, there never was anything missing. You are already it this very moment. You are the Self already whole and complete. God or the Self is nothing new, it is plain, common ordinary everyday awareness of being oneself, it is simply the knowing that you are present here and now, it is self-awareness. It is 'I' am.

Q: What's the bottom line about Enlightenment?

A scam, a joke, a myth of ignorance that is only used to entice imbeciles to foolishly believe the false to be true. Chasing after illusion, false imagination and fantasy. What else!

After all, all sentient beings are already Buddhas or so called Enlightened. Being alive is being so called Enlightened. God is Life itself. The activity of being alive is being the Self, He, the Reality or God. That is all there is to realize about the Reality, it is existence. One's own existence is the Divine.

Look at yourself and realize that if you are breathing, seeing, hearing, thinking, being alive, being conscious, being aware of being yourself naturally, being awake from sleep and sentient, cognizant then you are Enlightened. Lively and buoyant is consciousness or the Self, it is the natural state of being alive common to all sentient being.

The natural state of being. Livingness, alive-ness, being-ness is always being the Self itself or one's true nature naturally without ever trying to be. You are the Living power present in the body.

You are the presence of Life itself. Therefore if you know that you are alive and aware of being present or present awareness is undeniable or you know that you are alive, that you exist here and now or 'I' am is certain, you are Enlightened. That is all there is to realize. 'I' am is God so to speak.

That is it! Be yourself and that is being the real Self or your true nature. You are what you Seek! You are that. Nothing new or different to become, to reach or to attain. If you are alive and are aware of being alive then you are that. Awareness of being. The knowing that you are alive and present is the Self itself or awareness. Any spiritual or religious concepts of Enlightenment is a hoax.

Life is the Oneness Omni-present in all sentient beings.
That is the Secret to God, He is Life itself. Consciousness is the real power, the only real presence of intelligence. Consciousness is the One without a second and you are that, simply by being alive and being aware of being.

God is 'I' am. The Self is 'I' am. Consciousness is 'I' am. There is no bondage, separation or duality and there is no liberation either. Nothing new to attain or different to become. Existence is being this consciousness itself.

Living is being the Self or God. Being aware of being alive here and now is present awareness, it is pure awareness of being, this common to all present awareness is 'I' am. Realize that you are aware and that being aware is awareness and that is your true nature.

Remove all the spiritual and religious concepts and get to know the simple truth about God.
Not hidden far away. God is consciousness, consciousness is existence, existence is Life. Consciousness is pure awareness of being. No one can deny one's own existence.

So near and so dear! Existence or consciousness is the true Beloved. Like hiding a diamond within your own pocket, the Reality is undeniably present within your own dwelling all along as the most Precious of all, as the presence of Life itself. Consciousness is the knowing that you are alive. Awareness of being is bliss. Who doesn't like to be alive?

Remove ignorance and the Search is over for the Self that was never lost. All you need is to realize that you are aware and you have done all that needed to be done. To be aware is to be the Self itself.
No one becomes consciousness, to be conscious is to be the Self or consciousness itself. So simple.

To be aware is 'I' am.
'I' am is the Self. 'I' am is God. 'I' am is aware-ness.

Q: Thanks for making it all available to us and for allowing us to email you with questions. Since I came across 'nonduality', I have had difficulty with the question: "Are you aware?". Teachers ask that question as if it has the most simple and obvious answer. The tricky part for me is the word "you" in that question. I want to answer the question as accurately as possible, but I don't sense any specific, central "I" that is aware or not aware. I do, however, prefer to answer the question: "Is there awareness there?". So I've found my translation. Is there awareness here? Yes! Yes! There is!
Everything in my experience is awareness. Fascinating! Now what? Am I that awareness? Again a difficult question. What "I"?

'You' are that. Awareness is another name for 'you'. The 'I' is not different from awareness.
Awareness is just another name for the 'I' you know so well as your own affectionate self and being.
That is all. You cannot negate the knowing that 'you' are present or that 'I' is present, that 'I' am, knowing that you are present as yourself here and now is always certain, that knowing that 'you' are present is present awareness, the 'I' or 'you' is that presence of awareness itself. To know this about yourself, about the 'I' or 'you' is to know the Oneness. The plain ordinary 'you' that is always present everyday and aware effortlessly is this presence of awareness itself. 'You or the 'I' is that. That is the meaning of "you are that'. You are awareness itself, all the scriptures will tell 'you' that. Remember who 'you' truly are. 'You' are the One without two playing an individual part in a long mortal dream.
There is no becoming awareness. Being aware of being yourself is awareness itself. You are that. It is all about getting to know 'you'. Who are 'you'? Have a look at yourself and see. Know thyself.

Awareness is simply what 'you' are and what 'you' have always been your entire life, awareness is yourself. 'You' are that. Remove ignorance and voila! You know yourself, you know who 'I' truly, that 'I' present in that 'I' am that you know as your own being is the lord. The 'I' is awareness itself. So simple. Nothing new but awareness is the plain good ol' you.

Self-Realization is to realize that 'you' are the Self. That is all. Nothing spiritual or religious about being aware. Being aware is awareness, you know that 'you' are. 'I' know that 'I' am. No awareness, no 'I', no 'I' am, no 'you'. All are One and the same presence of awareness. Nothing is excluded from this Omni-presence, it is all that. The 'I' is at once your own affectionate everyday ordinary self and the Infinite Self. The Self is yourself, the 'I' and the 'you'. No difference whatsoever. You are egoless. There is no ego. You are awareness itself. No duality or separation, no difference between being 'you' and awareness. You are that. The 'I' is that. The Self or awareness is yourself. Same exact being-ness or 'I' am-ness.

I' am that, simply means that the 'I' is that awareness itself. The 'I' is that. The 'I' is the true Self, the Lord, He, the Reality or God. No difference whatsoever. Same, same, the Big 'I' expressing itself as all small 'I's which do not exist apart from Him. The One 'I' appearing as many. That is the Secret to non-duality or Oneness. The 'I' is not different from the Lord. The 'I' and the Father are One. Thou art that or 'you' are that.

To simply be aware of being oneself is to be the One Self. That is all. That is the Secret to Freedom, to realize that you are already Free. Who said you were anything other than the Self or awareness this very moment?

The Self is yourself. Simple changeless awareness of being yourself. Who is not aware of being oneself? Look at yourself! 'You' know that 'you' are, 'I' am is certain. That 'I' or 'you' is at once your own self and the Infinite Self. The 'I' present in 'I' am is God. You are the Oneness already, you simply don't realize it. Know yourself. You are awareness, never changing. Being aware and remaining aware all day long is this undeniable presence of unchanging awareness itself, that is your true Self. Awareness is another name for 'you'. The 'I' is pure awareness of being, the 'I' is the Lord, this presence of awareness is itself the core of your own being. It is that 'I' am you know so well.

Are 'you' aware? Yes 'I' am. You know that 'you' are aware simply because 'you' are that awareness itself or the knower present as your own self, present as the 'I' which is this presence of awareness itself, remove the camouflage or veil of ignorance about 'you', that is all that is required. Know yourself, get to know 'you'. Who is 'I' or who am 'I' really? Know the Truth, that the 'I' is at once yourself and awareness. You are awareness itself. Awareness is another name for 'you'. Being aware is awareness and that is your true nature. Nothing new, being aware is being awake. Realize that here and now 'you' are aware and remain aware effortlessly or awake, same thing, knowing that 'you' are aware is itself this unchanging presence of awareness. The key word is 'you'., here and now 'you' are that awareness. Awareness is the constant unbroken knowing that 'you' are present as yourself. Awareness is pure changeless being. 'You' know that you are and you like it. Your true nature is self-awareness. Awareness is being your own affectionate everyday ordinary self. Unbroken 'I'.

'You' are the true Self already without even trying to be. 'You' are the One without two simply being 'you'. There are no two of 'you'. No dual-'I'-ty. Yourself is the Self. There is no God and 'you', there is only 'you'. Know yourself and you know the Oneness. You are the One. That is the simple message of non-duality shared throughout the millennia.

Know yourself. Look at yourself right here and now, 'you' know that 'you' are and 'you' like it. 'I' am is knowing that 'you' are present as yourself. 'I' exist. Pure awareness of being is 'I' am. You already know that 'you' are or that 'I' am. Awareness is not to be reached or attained but to realize that it is what 'you' are and have always been your entire life, you simply did not know it to be so close, so dear and so near to 'you'.

All you know for certain this very moment right here and now is that 'I' exist. 'I' am is certain and that undeniable awareness of being 'you' doesn't come or go anywhere or needs any proof. 'I' am is always with you as the constant or unbroken knowing that 'you' are. Present awareness doesn't come or go. It always remains present and unchanging as your true self or the real unchanging 'you'. Be still and 'you' always remain present naturally as pure unchanging awareness itself, as the real Self.

Awareness is nothing new to anyone alive but the most common affectionate presence known to everyone.
You can only say 'I' or 'I' am only because awareness is present as the knowing that 'you' are present. That is present awareness or pure awareness of being. Awareness is the activity of knowing that you are, the activity of being sentient and aware of being present as 'you' all day long is awareness itself.

So you are awareness itself, never changing, "now what?" Well now you know the truth about the 'I' or yourself. That is all. The the question of who am 'I'? 'I' is the answer. 'I' am. 'I' and awareness or the Infinite Self are One. No difference. Welcome home which you have never left at any time. Awareness is what 'you' are and have always been all along. 'You' are that. The 'I' is that. The 'I' you know so well as yourself and as that present awareness or 'I' am-ness is pure awareness itself. The Self is yourself. You are awareness.

Present awareness is so near and so dear. The very 'I' you believe is nothing significant or a finite self is truly the Infinite Self. That is the Secret to Freedom. Know the 'I' or get to know your true self. Can you negate being? Can you deny existing right here and now? 'I' am is always certain. 'I' am means that 'I' is present right here and now. The 'I' and awareness are one, indivisible, inseparable, the 'I' is the Infinite Self itself. So realize the Truth about yourself that me, myself and 'I' is awareness itself and nothing else but this. What else would you be anyhow? Investigate yourself, get to know yourself, who am 'I', what am 'I'? Self-inquiry is required to remove the 'veil' of ignorance.

To the question who am 'I'? 'I' am is always certain simply because the 'I' present in 'I' am is pure awareness of being and that is the true Self. Know thyself or know the 'I' real identity or who am 'I'. And the 'I' is self-revealed effortlessly to be the Infinite Self, the Lord, the Father, awareness, the Oneness or God. In no circumstance can you deny your own self and say 'I' don't exist or 'I' am not. You know that you are present and are aware of being. The 'I' is present awareness itself. You cannot separate yourself from awareness because the 'I', 'you' and awareness are One and the same presence.

There is no 'you', the 'I' and awareness. There is only Oneness. You still have not understood this Omni-presence and recognized that 'you' are this awareness itself or the Oneness. The 'I' is pure awareness itself. Awareness is 'you or your own affectionate self and being. There is nothing else present as 'you', as your plain ordinary everyday self but this Omni-presence or this presence of awareness itself. That is all there is present in Omni-presence. All there is present is awareness, just this and nothing else and 'you' are that. That is the Real-'I'-zation. Awareness is just another name for the plain good ol' ordinary everyday 'you', nothing new. There is no becoming awareness, you are that itself this very moment being yourself, that is all. Awareness is yourself. No difference. Awareness is the imperishable self. There is nothing more to realize. To know this is to know the simple truth about yourself or the 'I'. That here and now 'you' are that.

Know the simple Truth about 'you'. The 'you' or the 'I' you know so well as your own everyday self and being is that awareness itself some call the Self, He or the reality. Simply being yourself just as you are this very moment naturally without even trying to be. That is the Secret to Freedom. The 'I' is awareness itself. The One without a second. No difference whatsoever. That is all there is to realize. 'You' are that awareness itself. So simple. Know the simple truth about your plain ordinary everyday familiar self, that the 'I' you know so well already as your own affectionate familiar self is the Real Self, the Infinite Self is the 'I' present as 'you' right here and right now. Here and now 'you' are that. No-dual-'I'-ty otherwise do you admit of two selves present or phantom ego? You are egoless and therefore the 'I' or the 'you' you already know so well as yourself this very moment is this awareness, this Oneness or the One without two. You are that already, only ignorance is the illusion of separation and duality. Get rid of ignorance and you have done all that needs to be done.

So yes that 'you' is awareness itself, awareness is what 'you' are right now. Done! Call off the Search. No-duality, no separation there is only One Self, One presence of existence and that presence of existence is 'you', you are that awareness right now. Awareness is your true nature, 'I' is awareness itself but people miss-identify themselves due to ignorance to the body and believe that 'I' is an independent finite self limited to the body or ego, a separate individual entity.

Wrong identification, 'I' is the Infinite Self expressing itself as 'you'. The 'I' and the Infinite Self are One, there never were 'two I'' or 'two selves' present that is the illusion of separation and duality itself, but only 'I' as awareness is always present, the One without two is 'you'. The 'I' is God if you like or the 'I' is not different from the Father or the Lord. You are the Oneness. Simply being your own ordinary everyday affectionate self is being God or the Self. That is all there is to realize. The 'I' or 'you' is that Omni-presence. 'You' are that literally. The 'I' is that which simply means that 'I' am is that presence of awareness itself. Awareness of being. To be yourself is to be aware. If you are not aware or un-conscious you are not aware of being. You are aware and that is awareness itself. Being aware and remaining aware is simply being the Self, He, the Reality. That is all.

You gain absolutely nothing new which you did not have before, you only lose ignorance about the 'I'. You know the truth about yourself. That is the Realization, the 'veil' is removed or the penny drop so to speak, you recognize that 'you' are that awareness itself this very moment and 'you' have always been that presence of awareness itself, that is all what the so called Realization is simply all about, know thyself or get to know 'you' and you will discover that Gee! yoU aRe yoU. You will discover that the 'I' is that presence of awareness, that 'you' are that and you will be able to say to yourself the Truth, that 'I' am that. That 'I' and awareness are One. No difference whatsoever.

You yourself are the Self simply being you, nothing new whatsoever, simply being just as 'you' are right now and have always been is being the One without a second. Awareness or the Self is just another name for 'you'. That is all. Nothing new or any different is freshly acquired simply because nothing was ever lost. You simply know the truth about 'you' and that alone sets you Free. You are the One without two. You are He, you are that. You are awareness, you are the Self, you are God.
After all, if you know that you are aware, then awareness is present as the knowing that you are.

Only ignorance is the false belief that the 'I' is a finite self or ego limited to the body.
That wrong knowledge must go and that is called Freedom from all bondage. Know yourself.
'You' being awareness cannot acquire, attain or achieve awareness, how can you kiss yourself?

Understanding that being aware is awareness or the Self that is Sought-after is the Real-'I'-zation. Then you can call off the Search for awareness or the Self. You are that already this very moment anyhow. Since you are aware and awareness is what 'you' are right now simply being aware. You know the simple Truth about 'you' and voila! That is the simple realization. You are that or the 'I' is awareness itself, the One Self, the One 'I' is present as yourself, as that presence of awareness.

The ultimate Truth is so simple.
The 'I' is not different from awareness but One and the same presence. That is the realization itself.
'You' are that awareness itself or the 'I' is that. That is all. You are that. No awareness present no you.

The 'I' is present awareness or pure awareness of being. That is the Self Real-'I'-zation.
Self is at once awareness and you. You are that literally and have always been that simple changeless presence of affectionate awareness. You are this awareness itself without even trying to be.
Only ignorance is the cause of all mischief, the 'veil' and the false notion of duality or dual-'I'-ty.

So you see you have always been your true nature but you mistaken yourself to be a body and a mind, a 'small 'I' when you actually are the 'big 'I'. You are ever-free, there is nothing more to get, but that this familiar presence of awareness present with you right now, is your Real self or Reality. 'I' and awareness or Reality are one and the same, non-duality, not two! You cannot negate being, you cannot say 'I' don't exist, 'I' am not!
Existence is 'I' , Awareness is 'I' or 'I' is the Infinite Self present as yourself.

Being aware is 'I' am! 'I am aware' is being. Being aware is Awareness! As Nisargadatta would point it out to his students what you need is to be aware of 'being aware'...That is all.

There is not awareness and 'you' but only 'you' present as awareness itself, awareness is just another name for 'you', that is what you truly are. Realizing that you as awareness is effortlessly present and unchanging is all that needs to be done for 'liberation'. So if you answer 'yes' 'yes' to the question: "Are you aware?", than you know yourself to be present, you know that you are. I am aware is being, Awareness is undeniably present for you to know. That is realizing or recognizing your true nature, changeless Awareness, simply noticing that you are aware, present and that you remain aware all day long. Aware-ness is your true nature.

Realize that only the content of awareness changes during the waking state but awareness or wakefulness itself is changeless. You are aware of all changing thoughts, all feelings, sounds, objects etc... everything you are aware of, changes continuously, but aware-ness itself or this familiar sense of presence or presence of awareness does not come or go anywhere, awareness remains unchanged all day long. Self-shining light of awareness that you are.

So you see, it is so easy to know yourself, simply notice that you, as aware-ness is not as a changing thought or changing content of what you are aware etc... but unchanging awareness itself, timeless presence and that is your changeless Reality. You laugh and real-I-zed that 'I ' is Awareness and you always were the real 'I' and that always have been home, there never was any other 'I' present but the One and you call off the search and voila!
