HERE and NOW
YOU ARE THAT

The One

I am the One. The Almighty
I am Living in you and all humanity

I am not silence, nor am I stillness
I am so Lively and love to express

I am the very existence that you enjoy to be
You are my wave and I am your Sea

Everywhere present, you can never see me
If you look for me, you can only miss me
Look at your own heart if you don't believe me

If you see me there you will be happy
You will know the Truth and it sets you free
That I am in you and you are in me

One and the same for Eternity
Why worry? When you are me
When you are the One and the Almighty

~ The Quest ~

Because of ignorance I was suffering terribly
I believed I was bound so I sought to be free
Seeking for the Truth so desperately
I sat with that teacher, this master, that guru or Jnani
Some looked simple and some looked special and holy

Listening to one talk or seating with another quietly
I spent time with them but couldn't find clarity
They weren't pointing to the Truth simply and clearly
People worshipped some, believing they were different and extra-ordinary
Some pay them a fee, others wrote books about them and even Poetry

I didn't understand what these people were talking about and was left empty
Some were full of tradition and very contradictory
Most Teachers and Gurus will only help in exchange of a fee
Associating themselves with Nisargadatta and Ramana Maharshi

I was not satisfied but even more confused and thirsty
I prayed in my heart for God to finally have mercy
One day the search ended and I found liberty
I was no longer seeking to be whole or to become happy

The Truth was revealed quite effortlessly
Only a few words were necessary
I recognized my true nature and changeless Reality
Who I truly am for eternity

I realized that only ignorance can be sold for a fee
Ultimate Truth wasn't hard or difficult, but child-like simplicity
Truth is a close kept secret that most people don't want others to see

This is my story
And in the end it all worked out beautifully
Now I stand alone, with no God beside me

Sharing

I share freely with you what was revealed to me  
That you are never bound but eternally free

All that I can do for you is point to Reality
Like bringing you water, drink if you are thirsty
If it is true for you, take a look and see

No one outside you can give you what you are already
For it is not about achieving or gaining something new
But to simply recognize that you are always free

Once you know that you are, you will be happy
There is nothing to complain about, when you are the One and only
You take Life as it comes, for it is the way it should be

Nothing changes really
Apart that you stop crying that your glass is empty
That is all it is about to become a Jnani
To be your familiar self without a personal me

Here and now you are nothing, but the One Almighty
You believe there is two of you, but that is the only duality
The mistake is to want something new and missing the ordinary

To simply be just as you are has always been He
The Infinite One is you and expressing as many
Never two present but always non-duality

All is that Oneness, what else could it be?
Thoughts, feelings, emotions are also really He
Nothing to change about you is necessary

No matter what it is, don't take it personally
All are simply appearing in front of you and passing naturally
Never attached to you, so you don't have to worry
Eventually this too shall pass, that is a certainty

Once you know the simple Truth, that 'I am' is He
Like a fish inside water you will never be thirsty
Nothing happens because you are That already
Simply be yourself and know you are free

~ The ordinary ~

I heard that my Son was seeking for me!
I simply came to his door to help him be free.
He saw me looking so ordinary.
And he said to me. How can you be He!
I cannot let you in for you don't look so Holy.

His heart wasn't open, but closed up and angry.
He did not realize, that nothing ever is what it appears to be.
Only came to point him to his true Reality.
So that he could see for himself that he was always Free!

But instead to see me as I really am, plain and ordinary.
Ever-Present in his heart and changeless as his own subtle being.
He went back to his search for the new, the special and extra-ordinary.
Without ever knowing that he was ever-free.

So desperatly seeking and wanting to find me.
But you must know yourself if you want to know me.
After all I came to your door but you did not want to see me.
Perhaps some other time you might be ready.
Simply be open to the ordinary.

That is the key of my Heart if you want to be Free.
That is where I am, if you want to find me.
Look into your heart, how can you miss me?
Without me present how could you ever be.

Stop looking and you have found me.
Only remove ignorance so that you can see.
Then all there is left for you to do is to simply be.
You truly know who you are because you've seen me.
Play and enjoy your dream for it is only temporary.
Like a wave is dancing and moving in the sea.

The Guru

The Guru will appear to you and pretend to be me
But if you believe that it is true, you will only miss me
If you see me on the road you must definitely kill me
I am not a Guru nor do I care to be
Many use my name and pretend to be me
So that they can sell my Sons something for a fee

So be wise and be clear for I am never far but so very near
How much should they pay me for their own right to be?
I give of myself like the shade of a Tree
Do I ask them for anything in return for eternity

I am the Power and I am the Reality
Why sell my children something you call me
When they already are myself and totally free
If I truly come to you it will never be for a fee

I am not for sale but the Infinite Almighty
You are myself and nothing can buy me
Turn within yourself if you want to know me
It takes no time, no effort, not even a fee
I am always here with you and only here with you will you find me
Outside of yourself is not really me

Forget everyone and everything that you see
Look within yourself and know you are free
Only the ignorant believe I am a Guru
but that finger, is not really true
I am what they are truly pointing to
I am is yourself the One without two

My Reality

I am only dreaming of myself within myself, this is my Reality.
This is what my Life truly is, just a long dream within Eternity.
So much Fun! Nothing is wrong anymore!
Patterns come and go like waves on the surface of the Sea
Life is always eternal, why should anyone worry?

When I tell everyone that Life never ends, they all think I'm crazy
I find that paradox strange and kind of funny
For if they knew this simple Truth, they would be laughing with me
Happy, Lively and joyfull instead of taking Life seriously
All are looking everywhere to become complete and free
When simply being alive here and now is the only real Reality

Ignorance is the veil that keeps everyone searching for Freedom so frantically
Only lies are covering up the Truth and Truth is revealed with only honesty
The more open and honest you are in your heart, the faster you will see

What you treasure most, is where your heart will also be
Do you desire the world of mammon or the Reality
One is always acquired and extra-ordinary
The other is not new and you can only be

One will always leave you desperate and empty
The other full and no longer thirsty
Choose wisely if you want to be happy
